Amery Hospital is looking to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med Surg team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing direct patient care and clerical support to ensure a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment at Amery Hospital & Clinic. CNAs support the mission, vision, guiding principles, and standards of behavior of AHC while assisting nursing staff with patient care activities, coordinating services, and responding promptly to patient needs. CNAs provide a wide range of services including patient assistance, vital sign monitoring, documentation, unit organization, customer reception, and support of daily nursing operations. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support high-quality patient care and satisfaction.

Work Schedule: .7 FTE - Evening/Overnight Shift (5:30pm-6am) with every 3rd weekend + holiday rotation based on department policy.

Shorter shifts are available to pick up as well. Casual position to assist in covering vacation and sick calls.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and further healthcare coursework

CNA certification required

BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

3 years CNA experience preferred
