Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a Resident Care Attendant (RCA) to join our team! The Resident Care Attendant (RCA) is responsible for assisting in maintaining a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for residents. Responsibilities:

  • Assists residents with personal care needs such as, but not limited to, medication administration, daily bathing, dressing, grooming, and dental care.

  • Assists in food preparation as needed, serving residents, and the clean-up of meals. May be required to record food and fluid intake as directed by supervisor.

  • Assists as directed in proper admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, inventory of resident possessions, and report any defective equipment to administration and/or maintenance.

  • Assists residents with dispensing medications with proper documentation using the DOT system.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED/TASC equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to occasionally lift over 60 pounds. Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, squat, twist, and engage in repetitive motion for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, visitors, vendors, volunteers and the public in person and via the telephone.
