Delaware Valley Residential Care is currently seeking experienced Resident Care Assistants to assist our Program Participants with all aspects of daily living.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, and other activities of daily living
  • Provide assistance with serving meals and assist residents with eating
  • Provide Residents assistance in transferring from chair to bed, chair to toilet, ect
  • Assist Residents to and from structured day programming
  • Encourage participation in; activities, outings, and other programs
  • Assist the therapists with group activities

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, required
  • 3-5 years experience in Caregiving, preferred
  • Must be able to weather the elements, as travel outside from resident apartment on campus to day center is required
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for both team members and participants
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm in tense and high-pressure situations
  • Proven track record of timeliness and accountability
