What is an RCA?

RCAs, or Resident Care Assistants, are professionals who support individuals in residential care facilities, such as nursing homes or assisted living centers. Their duties typically include helping residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility. RCAs also monitor residents’ health, report changes to nursing staff, and provide companionship. They play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
