Description
Pilatus is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting aircraft production, service operations, and spare parts fulfillment by ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials, components, and services required for operations. In addition, you will convert internal demand into purchase orders, manage supplier confirmations and delivery commitments, monitor open orders, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to mitigate supply chain risks that may impact aircraft production schedules, AOG (Aircraft on Ground) events, or customer deliveries. Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Processes approved purchase requisitions and generates purchase orders in accordance with company Rules of Authority and procurement procedures
  • Ensures accurate entry of pricing, delivery dates, quantities, and vendor terms within the ERP system (SAP / Quantum or equivalent)
  • Obtains and reviews supplier order confirmations to ensure pricing, quantities, and delivery dates match purchase order requirements
  • Monitors open purchase orders and proactively follows up with suppliers to confirm shipment schedules and mitigate delays
  • Tracks supplier delivery performance and identifies risks impacting aircraft build schedules or customer commitments
  • Escalates supply issues that could impact production or service operations
  • Generates replenishment orders based on established Min/Max inventory parameters
  • Supports inventory availability by monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment activity

Other Duties/Responsibilities
  • Maintains organized records of purchasing documentation and supplier correspondence
  • Supports cross-functional initiatives related to supply chain performance improvement
  • Assists with special purchasing projects, supplier initiatives, or process improvement activities as directed by Purchasing leadership

Requirements
Skills/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of purchasing, supply chain, or procurement experience preferred
  • Experience within aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or technical industries is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple purchase orders and supplier communications simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Quantum Control, or similar platforms preferred

The salary range for this position is $27.02 - 33.78 per hour depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
