PURSHASING ASSOCIATE – Contract 1 year - Mississauga, Ontario (onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Create all equipment, fixed assets, and expense POs for all of Genda Americas.

• Forward POs to vendors and enter them on internal log for tracking.

• Contact vendors to ensure equipment is ready in time to meet install deadlines.

• Communicate effectively with requisitioning departments regarding delivery status.

• Create and maintain item cards in both excel and Business Central.

• Monitor and update the Capital Approval Process.

• Sell Capital Asset to the routes and provide costs to route admin.

• Ensure all pricing and discounts are upheld and reflected on POs.

• Handle intercompany sales between Canada and the US.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years purchasing experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate level Excel skills
  • Experience with Business Central not required but an asset
  • Knowledge of the inventory process an asset
  • Strong work ethic with a drive to learn
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented, Organized and can prioritize tasks
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work both independently and as a team
  • Team player who can effectively collaborate with both internal and external customers
