We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join us as a Purchasing Supervisor

The Purchasing Supervisor is accountable for participating in the Supply Chain process by supporting the buyers with purchase order confirmations and scanning activities. Will be responsible for providing support and assistance to suppliers to obtain purchase order confirmations and update JDE-accordingly, expediting the timely receipt of confirmations.

You will work in partnershipwith Supply Chain Delivery Planners and Buyers, in support of all procurement efforts, delivery, and/or quality and participate in buyer meeting to increase productivity and advancement opportunities through personal commitment to professional development, and by practicing continuous improvement of process.

About you

  • High School Diploma or GED; bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 5 years demonstrated relevant work experienceof purchasing practices and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, with professional daily interaction with internal and/or external customers (as trained)
  • Strong follow through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the integrated supply chain and database systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel, as needed.
