The Assistant Property Manager assists the Property Manager in overseeing all operational functions. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have a general understanding of general business practices, and demonstrate a high regard for ethical standards. This is accomplished by ensuring positive tenant relations, maintaining occupancy levels; the property is in good physical condition, and developing a marketing campaign to ensure the future success of the community.

  • Assists manager is scheduling and coordinating the duties of on-site staff
  • Address tenant concerns and needs in a timely manner
  • Assists manager in performing regular property inspections
  • Follow proper tenant intake procedures
  • Ensure money management guidelines are followed
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Requirements

Requirements
  • One year of property management experience preferred
  • Proficiency with YARDI property management software preferred
  • Certification in property management (e.g., Certified Property Manager, Certified Apartment Manager) is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office Package
  • Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending stooping and reaching in all directions
  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers entering data using a keyboard
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Walking for extended periods of time checking units
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
