Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, inviting, and pleasant atmosphere for guests throughout Titletown and other Green Bay Packers properties. Primary responsibilities include maintenance, housekeeping, and set-up of programs and events. Additional responsibilities include the upkeep and maintenance of the ice rink and artificial snow areas. Regular hours worked will be 7:00am – 3:30pm and to include every other weekend. Flexibility to work extended hours (including first and third shift), weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency calls after hours.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the functional integrity and upkeep of Titletown by ensuring equipment, buildings, and grounds are kept clean and well maintained.
  • Complete preventative maintenance and complete or coordinate repairs as needed on all HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems.
  • Set-up and remove tables, chairs, equipment, staging, etc. as needed for special events and park functions.
  • Respond to additions and/or changes to set-ups in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ice maintenance to include edging, Zamboni operations, flooding, painting, installation and removal of dasher system.
  • Artificial snow maintenance to include grooming, maintenance, snow creation process, installation and removal of the tube conveyor.
  • Complete cleaning of all public area restrooms, buildings, and grounds including restocking of paper towel, toilet paper, and changing garbage.
  • Properly handle and use cleaning products and chemicals.
  • Maintain clean and orderly storage rooms.
  • Interact with clients to provide world-class service levels.
  • Remove snow from various hardscape locations. Participate in snow removal schedule, to include early start times and added days in winter.
  • Assist in supervision of contracted maintenance, projects, and improvements as directed by Titletown Facilities Manager.
  • Operate equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, aerial lifts, snowplows, bobcats, ice resurfacer and snow groomer. Training and certification provided.
  • Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds at other properties, and various facilities maintenance projects.
  • Participate in rotation for building on-call. Able to respond to emergency calls after hours.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years employment experience in building maintenance with a background in general maintenance and repairs, intermediate electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Be knowledgeable in all facets of cleaning techniques.
  • Experience operating snow grooming or equivalent equipment preferred.
  • Experience operating ice resurfacing equipment preferred.
  • Position requires a hands-on and self-starting, take-charge individual with a strong emphasis on people skills.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work both individually and as a close-knit team.
  • Working knowledge of power tools and equipment.
  • Possess efficient and effective resourcefulness, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • General working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Flexibility with hours to work extended and non-traditional hours, including second and third shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to reach, bend, climb, and lift on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to push and/or pull heavy objects.
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
  • Operates in a professional environment.
  • Role routinely uses equipment and machinery.
