Property Care Specialist

Location: Columbus, Ohio

The core goal of our operation is to bring tenants and properties together while making the leasing process uncomplicated for both.

Position Overview

The Property Care Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of our residential community. This position combines housekeeping and groundskeeping responsibilities, supporting both interior and exterior property upkeep. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys a role that offers variety through both indoor and outdoor tasks.

This position is essential to ensuring apartments are ready to move-in, common areas are consistently clean, and the exterior of the community is well-maintained and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

Interior / Housekeeping Duties

  • Clean and prepare vacant apartment homes (turns/flips) to ensure they are move-in ready
  • Perform detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, floors, appliances, windows, and fixtures
  • Maintain interior common areas on a scheduled basis (hallways, entryways, laundry rooms, etc.)
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns discovered during cleaning
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an organized and safe manner

Exterior / Groundskeeping Duties

  • Perform routine grounds upkeep including trash and debris removal throughout the property
  • Assist with general pool maintenance as needed (cleanliness, organization, visual upkeep)
  • Maintain curb appeal by monitoring outdoor common areas, sidewalks, and building exteriors
  • Support seasonal exterior tasks as needed (light snow removal, leaf pickup, etc.)
  • Assist maintenance team with basic exterior support tasks when required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial, groundskeeping, or property maintenance preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
  • Comfortable performing both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Physically able to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
  • Reliable transportation and valid photo ID
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time position
  • Monday-Friday (7AM-330PM)
