The Sales Promotions, Facility & Safety Leader is responsible for providing direct leadership to a team while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations. This role supports commercial objectives by overseeing sales promotion activities, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring pricing and inventory accuracy. The position also holds accountability for financial oversight, staffing alignment, and continuous operational improvement. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, hands-on leader who can balance people leadership, operational execution, and business support responsibilities. This individual is both strategic and practical, able to lead a team while staying closely connected to day-to-day operations within the facility.

Education & Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Agribusiness, or Operations Management

  • A minimum of three to five years of customer service and/or agricultural experience, including supervisory leadership, is required.

  • Proven leadership experience with direct people management responsibilities.

  • Strong organizational, financial, and operational management skills.

  • Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP) and financial processes.

  • Ability to collaborate across functions and manage vendor relationships.

  • Working knowledge of safety and compliance requirements within a facility environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to a team to ensure high performance and employee engagement.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one discussions to drive alignment, communicate priorities, and support development.

  • Complete performance evaluations and contribute to employee development planning.

  • Manage and approve time-off requests while ensuring appropriate staffing coverage.

  • Monitor workload, staffing levels, and utilization of both full-time and contingent employees.

  • Oversee contingent labor contracts and resource allocation in partnership with cross-functional teams.

  • Collaboration and alignment with leadership team.

  • Ensure completion of required training programs, including organizational learning initiatives.

  • Approve employee expense reports and support compliance with company policies.

  • Lead recruiting and hiring processes to meet business needs.

  • Support and promote sales initiatives to drive customer engagement and business growth.

  • Communicate with sales representatives to promote key offerings, including Tools of the Trade (TOTT), Specialty Sign programs, Sweet Corn, and Plenish.

  • Maintain and support vendor relationships, including ensuring appropriate master agreements are in place.

  • Contribute to the effectiveness and visibility of promotional programs through timely and accurate communication.

  • Ensure the facility operates in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner in partnership with the Safety Specialist.

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of facility equipment and infrastructure.

  • Manage site assets, including fleet vehicles and leased equipment.

  • Coordinate the removal of obsolete materials and maintain organization within the facility and warehouse.

  • Serve as the owner of fixed assets, assigned cost center, and designated network resources.

  • Manage vendor relationships for facility services, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance requirements.

  • Establish and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for equipment.

  • Coordinate and schedule vendor services for repairs and maintenance as required.

  • Process and route facility-related invoices in accordance with established procedures.

  • Maintain and update product offerings and pricing for the Specialty Sign Shop and related platforms.

  • Develop and introduce new product offerings on a periodic basis to align with business needs.

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of website and catalog content.

  • Review and approve financial transactions, including PERNs and purchase orders.

  • Oversee cost and pricing analysis for Tools of the Trade and Sales Representative supplies.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to validate pricing structures and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Approve and manage inventory adjustments within SAP and ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Plan and execute periodic physical inventory audits across multiple product categories.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and corporate policies.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support audit readiness.
