Planning Support Administrator
Location: Carlsbad, CA
A growing organization in Carlsbad is seeking a detail-oriented Planning Support Administrator to join their team. This position will provide administrative and data entry support to the planning team while helping ensure information, documentation, and daily processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include entering and maintaining data, preparing reports and documents, updating records, coordinating information between departments, and assisting with planning-related administrative tasks. The Planning Support Administrator will also monitor deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and help maintain accurate files and databases.
Job Duties
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the planning department
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into internal systems and databases
  • Maintain and update records, files, spreadsheets, and reports
  • Prepare reports, documents, and other planning-related materials
  • Review information for accuracy and completeness
  • Track deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Respond to emails and phone inquiries and communicate professionally with internal teams
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and general planning activities
  • Communicate with various departments to gather and maintain accurate information
  • Support special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of administrative, data entry, or office support experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
