As a Business Development Assistant you will be the glue that keeps our sales team organized and accountable, keeping records accurate, tasks on track, and clients well taken care of. This is a great fit if you are detail-oriented, enjoy checking things off a list, and want a foot in the door with a growing sales team.
This is a part-time, hourly position on the Sales team.
Candidates must currently reside in one of the following locations to be considered for this role: California, Colorado, Washington D.C., Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, or Washington. We are unable to consider candidates residing outside these locations at this time.
How You'll Contribute
  • Coordinate a smooth, organized sales cycle through administrative support
    • Keep sales cycle records and artifacts well organized and up to date
    • Create first draft slide decks and estimates from templates as instructed by senior sales members
    • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for sales meetings, client calls, and internal reviews
    • Serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for clients and prospects on scheduling, documentation, and follow-up
  • Support outreach, qualification and nurturing initiatives
    • Help prepare and format proposals, estimates, and RFP responses so they go out looking polished and on time
    • Support outbound prospecting through email and call campaigns to target accounts
    • Help qualify inbound leads, gathering budget, timeline, and contact information before handing off to an Account Executive
    • Track and nurture early-stage leads that are not yet sales-ready, keeping them warm until timing improves
    • Monitor and complete assigned outreach tasks from marketing engagement campaigns
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned
    • Provide day-to-day administrative support: calendars, meeting prep, and follow-up reminders
    • Help maintain templates and simple how-to guides so the team stays consistent

What You Bring
  • 1-3 years professional experience in administration, customer service, business development, or account management
  • Comfortable using Salesforce or another CRM, with an eye for keeping records clean and up to date
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable supporting snr leadership
  • Comfortable representing the company directly to clients and prospects
  • Ability to manage short and long term goals
  • Experience scheduling and calendar management
  • Proficient in Google Workspace

  • Experience with consulting or professional services sales
