Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Project Coordinator in Milwaukee, WI. We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a Construction Project Management team in the successful execution of commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in construction administration and a strong understanding of project lifecycles, including procurement, document control, and closeout activities.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers with multiple active project schedules and internal staff meeting coordination.
  • Prepare and distribute project meeting minutes and maintain action items, checklists, and tracking logs.
  • Research project locations to compile bidder lists and contact subcontractors to solicit project bids.
  • Issue addendums, clarifications, and bid updates to bidders and awarded subcontractors.
  • Build and maintain project files within Procore and other project management systems to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Compile, issue, and track subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders while verifying subcontractor insurance compliance.
  • Manage the submittal process by logging, distributing, and tracking requirements between design teams and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate project closeout activities, including the collection of warranties, O&M manuals, and final reconciliation documents.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in construction project coordination or a related administrative support role.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction project management software, specifically Procore and Pipeline.
  • Solid understanding of commercial construction processes, terminology, and project workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Excellent professional communication and document control abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, and hear for prolonged periods.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required for close-up computer work and document review.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required occasionally.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to project sites as needed.
