FALL 2026 -- $16.00 PER HOUR PAID INTERNSHIP

With the possibility to extend to Spring 2027!


Are you currently enrolled (or planning to enroll) in an Associates or Bachelor's Degree program in Project Management, Business Administration/Management, Management Information Systems, or Business Analytics? Come to the Foundation to get hands-on learning experiences while you complete your coursework, in an environment that will be flexible around your class schedule!


Under the direction of the Manager, Project Team, our Project Coordinator Intern will play an important service and support role in the coordination of projects, assisting with stakeholder communication, maintaining documentation, coordinating testing activities, and tracking work progress. The Project Management department is newly-formed and the intern will have an opportunity to provide feedback and input into department operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain project artifacts and documentation as guided by project management leadership.ย 
  • Maintain and update project trackers to ensure tasks, milestones, and statuses are current and accurate.ย 
  • Assist with testing coordination amongst project stakeholders, including tracking test scenarios, logging results and monitoring completion status. ย 
  • Support project managers in preparing meeting materials, including agendas, notes, and action item tracking.ย 
  • Assist with stakeholder communication by drafting meeting recaps and action items, creating SOPs or training documents, and other internal updates.ย 
  • Document wins, milestones, RAID log, key decisions, and other project performance metrics.ย 
  • Participate in departmental meetings and status calls.ย 
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by Project Management leadership.ย 

Internship Schedule:ย 

  • This internship is set for Fall 2026. There is potential for an extension to Spring 2027, depending on business needs and candidate availability.ย 
  • The target schedule for this internship will be 10-20 hours/week, between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday-through-Thursday.ย 
  • It is preferred that the person have a set schedule throughout the duration of the internship (or at least per-semester), however, we can accommodate a flexible schedule for the right candidate.ย 

Requirements

Required Education/ Experience:

The International Foundation will always consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Enrolled in an Associates or Bachelors degree program, majoring in Project Management, Business Administration/Management, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related field. We prefer students outside of their freshman year of college, but will consider candidates based on their individual knowledge, skills and experience. **Alternatively, we would accept candidates with relevant certifications (CAPM, Google Project Management Certificate) or demonstrated project coordination work.
  • Experience with project management or work management platforms a plus but not required.ย 
  • Preference for candidates who have taken a project-based course.ย 


Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

  • Positive attitude backed by a willingness to learn new things.ย 
  • Excellent data entry skills and a track record of accuracy in work product.ย 
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.ย 
  • Ability to work independently.ย 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of staff.ย 
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.ย 


Work Environment:
This position is expected to work 100% onsite from our corporate headquarters office in Brookfield, WI. This is an office environment with typical office conditions, including lighting, noise, seating and equipment.
