Description

General Summary:

This Project Scheduler using Primavera P6, Primavera Cloud, and Microsoft Project will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information, track progress, and identify potential risks. They also generate reports, perform schedule analysis, and integrate various project schedules.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Create, maintain, and status detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Primavera Cloud and Microsoft Project.
  • Perform critical path analysis, float calculations, and "what if" scenario planning
  • Monitor project progress against the schedule, identify variances, and generate reports such as look-ahead schedules, variance reports, and earned value metrics.
  • Regularly communicating schedule status and updates to project teams, stakeholders, and management. 
  • Integrating vendor and subcontractor schedules into the master project schedule. 
  • Maintaining schedule baselines and managing schedule updates and revisions. 
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience  required.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera Cloud,  and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and scheduling methodologies (e.g., critical      path method).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) is preferred. 

Description of physical working environment:

  • 100% office-based.
  • May require lifting of supply boxes or materials up to 30 lbs.
