Hiring Salary Range:

Level I: $29.38 - $44.09

Level II: $77,400 - $116,100

Level III: $89,000 - $133,500

PURPOSE:

Provide project scheduling, planning, and coordination support for electrical transmission and substation capital projects. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules across the full project lifecycle. The Scheduler II works with internal project teams and external partners to ensure schedules are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project milestones and execution plans.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for transmission and substation projects in accordance with company procedures and industry best practices. Build and update baseline schedules incorporating engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. Coordinate with project managers, engineering, construction, and external partners to incorporate schedule updates and changes. Review and validate schedule updates from consultants and contractors for completeness, accuracy, and logic. Perform critical path and float analysis to identify potential risks or delays. Identify and communicate schedule conflicts, gaps, and risks to project teams. Support outage coordination and construction sequencing activities. Prepare and distribute schedule reports, milestone updates, and progress tracking metrics. Assist in developing schedule recovery plans and mitigation strategies. Maintain schedule documentation and ensure alignment with project requirements. Support continuous improvement of scheduling tools, templates, and processes. Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

Level I:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.1year of relevant experience in project scheduling, project controls, construction, or engineering supportpreferred.

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of project scheduling concepts and project lifecycle phases

  • Familiarity with Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project preferred

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks

  • Willingness to learn utility industry processes and scheduling practices

  • Valid driver's license

Level II:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of project scheduling or project controls experience, preferably in utility, construction, or infrastructure projects. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 required

  • Experience with Microsoft Project required

  • Working knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling and schedule analysis

  • Understanding of transmission and substation project lifecycle preferred

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools

  • Valid driver's license

  • Experience supporting transmission line or substation projects

  • Experience reviewing and analyzing contractor and consultant schedules
