Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Program Support Specialist and provide operational, logistical, and administrative support to the Manager of the Strategic Communication and Engagement team in the Communication organization under the Chief Administrative Officer. The team directly supports the development and execution of the business line communication plans and leads the agency's various public engagement processes.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Portland, OR with on site 2 days per week. The hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.93) is $38.48 depending on qualifications.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
With a Bachelor's Degree in applicable fields, 5 years of experience is required.
With an Associate's Degree in applicable fields, 7 years of experience is required.
Without a degree, 9 years of experience is required.
6 years of demonstrated administrative/clerical or program/project management experience is required.
5 years of relevant work experience in administrative support functions with Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.
Valid U.S. Driver's License or Real ID is required.
Preferred Skills:
Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint experience is highly desirable.
Intermediate SharePoint experience is highly desirable.
Previous experience working in the utility industry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with public engagement/outreach/involvement Federal Register processes.
