Job description

Join the Arc Herkimer Team as a Supports Manager STEPS!
Pay: $21.50/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week; Monday- Friday 8am- 4pm with flexibility
At Arc Herkimer, we're passionate about empowering people with disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. We're looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated Supports Manager – STEPS (Strategic Training and Education, a Plan for Success) to lead our Employment Services Specialists and help participants reach their goals.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the STEPS program
  • Supervise, coach, and support Employment Services Specialists
  • Develop engaging daily activities and individualized goal plans
  • Ensure quality services and person-centered supports
  • Complete assessments and oversee required documentation
  • Train and mentor new staff
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for participants
  • Provide hands-on support to participants when needed
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years of related experience, or an Associate's Degree plus 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to use it for work
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • A passion for helping others succeed
