Overview
VTG is looking for a highly motivated Intelligence Operations Support Officer to join our team in Chantilly VA.
What will you do?
As a Intelligence Operations Support Officer, a typical day will include the following duties:
  • Manages current and emergent intelligence reporting to customers, updating, maintaining, and disseminating intelligence products.
  • Manages, executes, and tracks intelligence sharing amongst multiple stakeholders.
  • Provides continuous intelligence watch, maintaining communication with respective components and partner agencies.
  • Monitors Indications and Warning (I&W), and is responsible for determining when a threat needs to be communicated to relevant authority.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task lead.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence operations.
  • Experience supporting intelligence operations (e.g.: watch operations or knowledge management).
  • Specific certifications or education/training may be required, depending on job assignment.

Program Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
• Familiarity with cable writing and classified databases, including specific targeting tools
• Strong briefing and writing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision
• Customer operations certification desired.
• Overseas experience of at least two overseas tours or from extensive overseas TDY experience desired.
• Served as Chief or Referent for a specialized operations position desired.
• Experience in intelligence operations, analysis, support to field operations desired.
• Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases desired
• Experience using customer databases to monitor traffic and communicate with field office desired.
