The Role: We are seeking a resolute Program Manager (PM) to join our dynamic team. As a PM, you will play a critical role in managing a team of individuals supporting people with IDD lead self-determined, meaningful, and fulfilling lives as they participate in their communities.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead, resources, and create accountabilities with and for CSLs, DSPs and others who provide direct support to people supported by Makom.
  • Connect and resource CSLs and DSPs to training and professional development resources, highlighting (but not limited to) self-determination, supported decision-making, and more generally the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver outcomes-focused supports.
  • Monitor all program implementation aspects to ensure the highest quality of support and services are provided effectively, efficiently. Inform the development of evidence-based, metric-driven outcomes measurement systems with which to adjust support and respond to needs and aspirations of people supported.
  • Ensure services to the people we support result in the outcomes they desire, in accordance with the PCP/ISP and Individual choice.
  • Mentor and coach CSLs and DSPs, as may be necessary or required to ensure compliance with regulatory and Makom policies/procedures.
  • Conduct investigation of employee grievances, performance difficulties, and other personnel matters assigned.
  • Interview, hire, and train new employees by coordinating onboarding processes with Human Resources, in accordance with Makom policy and procedures and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Analyze and evaluate performance of programs in meeting individual support and organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or 3+ years of equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with individuals with IDD are required.
  • 1+ year supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Valid Driver’s License.
