Job description

ATC Healthcare Staffing is seeking a driven and experienced Branch Manager - Healthcare Staffing to lead and grow our New York City healthcare staffing operations. In this role, you hold full operational and financial accountability for the branch, managing daily recruitment pipelines while aggressively expanding B2B client acquisition. This position requires hands-on driving strong market growth.

This is a hands-on, "boots on the ground" sales and leadership position. This role is ideal for a highly motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and takes ownership of results and excels at building strong local partnerships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, and institutional clients.

Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Growth

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share in the NYC healthcare market.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new healthcare facility partnerships.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service terms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure retention and expansion.

 

Operations & Performance Management

  • Manage branch revenue growth, margin performance, and expense control.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to sales, recruitment, fill rates, retention, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and healthcare staffing regulations.
  • Drive operational efficiency and accountability across the branch.

 

Recruitment & Workforce Management

  • Oversee recruitment efforts to build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of client staffing needs.
  • Monitor credentialing and onboarding processes to maintain compliance and efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to achieve performance goals.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience in healthcare staffing or B2B sales leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation.
  • Experience managing P&L and operational performance.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Knowledge of healthcare staffing regulations and credentialing processes preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
