Job Description

BryceTech has an immediate opening for a Contract Program Manager to support the  Under Secretary of Defense/Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (USD/DUSD(R&E)) Front Office; (2) the Offices of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (OASD) for Science and Technology (S&T), Mission Capabilities (MC), and Critical Technologies (CT); and (3) Deputy Secretary of Defense (DSD).  The Contract Program Manager will provide overall contract management, customer interaction, milestone and deliverable accomplishment, engineering support and business process optimization.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for client and stakeholder communication work with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and other government stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of program status, goals and any relevant issues.
  • Responsible for leadership and management and supervision of contractor employees, manage daily operations, and serve as the single point of contact for the contract.
  • Responsible for overall project oversight by assisting the government in managing the entire
  • project lifecycle, including planning, monitoring, controlling, and coordinating resources to ensure project objectives are met on schedule and within budget
  • Responsible for risk management by identifying and mitigating project risks and implementing quality assurance process and taking corrective action when problems arise.
  • Responsible for all Monthly Personnel and Contract Data Reporting to include all current contact data and funding information.
  • Prepare reporting materials, including program overviews, executive summaries, milestone status updates, and assessments of overall program health.
  • Coordinate and manage execution of senior staff visits in alignment with defined workflows, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on schedule.
  •  Responsible for overall administrative support that is strategic and matches the speed and quality needed to uphold the requirements of a fast-paced Front Office environment.
  • Responsible for development of new and innovative presentations, materials and speeches in support of engagements and events across different venues.
  • Responsible for advising customer regarding, and development of, communication with media and other organizations regarding science, technology, research and engineering and developmental test activities within the DoD.
  • Responsible for strategic and proactive facilitation of workflow management that enables key actions and tasks to be effectively and efficiently routed and completed across the enterprise.
  • Responsible for recommending innovative practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of assigned tasks.
  • Responsible for advising, planning and management of Research and Engineering demonstration events (i.e., Lab Demo Day)
Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS (i.e., Education, Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree required in related field such as management, business and/or engineering  
  • 10 years of demonstrated relevant experience is required 
  • four (4) years of specialized experience including military or industry executive assistant experience
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional bearing in all meetings, briefings and discussions with senior staff

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree is preferred in related field such as management, business and/or engineering  
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • 8 years' experience managing aerospace programs for DoD customers
  • Technical and analytic understanding of Milcom & PNT satellite and ground systems
