Platinum Technologies

Fort George G Meade, MD

Full-time

Posted 9 days ago

Job description

Who we are!
Platinum Technologies is a Northern Virginia based integrated solutions firm that specializes in Cybersecurity, Cloud and Digital Services to the Public Sector. Our team solves hard problems and helps our Mission Partners achieve their goals. If you are self-motivated, possess demonstrated learning agility, and are passionate about delivering high-quality work products – we want to hear from you.

We lead with technical expertise, but that is just the tip of the iceberg – the ‘Why’ matters. At Platinum, we don’t hire people to do a job. We provide professional and leadership development to complement our self-motivated domain experts. Our teammates are dot-connecting leaders that operate in a mutually accountable environment to deliver thought leadership, expert technical analysis, and quality execution for our clients.

You.

Platinum Technologies is seeking a Program Manager for Privacy Information Management. This role will lead the development and execution of technology-enabled privacy programs supporting Department of War missions. This role bridges privacy compliance, system engineering, and program execution focusing on building and managing workflows, tools, and data processes that operationalize DoD privacy requirements.
Rather than purely policy oversight, this position is responsible for translating privacy regulations into scalable technical solutions and repeatable operational workflows across enterprise environments.

This role requires an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

Location: Hybrid at Ft. Meade, MD

What you get to do.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of privacy information management capabilities, integrating e-discovery tools such as CasePoint, associated workflows, and automation.
  • Design and optimize workflows for:
    • Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
    • System of Records Notices (SORNs)
    • PII inventory and data flow mapping
    • Breach/incident response tracking
  • Integrate privacy requirements into enterprise systems (e.g., GRC platforms, RMF tools, ticketing systems like ServiceNow)
  • Align privacy processes with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and system authorization workflows
  • Manage data lifecycle governance for PII, including collection, use, sharing, retention, and disposal
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to track privacy program maturity and performance (aligned to capability maturity models)
  • Coordinate with system owners, ISSOs, engineers, and data architects to embed privacy-by-design principles
  • Oversee implementation of NIST 800-53 privacy controls (Appendix J / Rev. 5) within technical environments
  • Support automation of compliance artifacts and reporting (PIAs, SORNs, data calls)
  • Lead cross-functional teams delivering privacy-related system enhancements and integrations
  • Provide technical guidance on privacy risks in cloud, SaaS, and data-sharing environments
  • Support audits and inspections by ensuring traceability between policy, controls, and system implementation
Requirements.
  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, or IT program delivery in federal environments
  • Strong working knowledge of DoD privacy requirements (Privacy Act, DoD 5400.11-R, OMB A-130)
  • Experience implementing or managing privacy workflows within systems/tools (not just policy)
  • Hands-on familiarity with:
  • RMF (NIST SP 800-37)
  • NIST 800-53 security and privacy controls
  • GRC platforms (e.g., Xacta, eMASS)
  • Experience mapping business processes to system workflows and automating compliance activities
  • Ability to translate legal/policy requirements into technical and operational solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience with DoD privacy tooling or enterprise privacy platforms
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in data architecture, data governance, or data management frameworks
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, or workflow automation tools
  • Certifications such as PMP, CIPP/G, CIPM, or Agile/Scrum
  • Experience supporting capability maturity assessments (e.g., CMMI-style models)

Security Clearance: Active Secret
