Job description

We offer a flexible working policy that supports a healthy balance between personal and professional well-being. This role requires in-office presence on Tuesdays & Thursdays to collaborate, connect, and learn from peers - while also maintaining the flexibility for meaningful work-life balance.
Being a Privacy Program Manager at iManage Means...
You will help operationalize and scale key components of iManage's global privacy and data protection program. This is a program leadership role focused on operations, process design, and stakeholder enablement. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will own the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of our privacy program, managing our Privacy Operations Specialist and partnering closely with legal counsel and other specialists on matters requiring legal interpretation or risk judgment.
The ideal candidate has built privacy programs from scratch, excels at creating scalable processes and governance frameworks, and thrives on stakeholder coordination and change management. You bring deep GDPR and privacy program expertise but are not required to be a qualified lawyer. Your strength is operational excellence, program management, and building scalable systems that work.
iM Responsible For...
  • Operationalizing and scaling the global privacy program, including records of processing (RoPA), privacy tooling, and operational compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other global privacy regulations.
  • Managing the operational workflow for privacy assessments (PIAs, DPIAs, LIAs, AI impact assessments), including coordinating inputs, documentation, tracking, and escalation, while partnering with legal counsel on legal judgment and risk analysis.
  • Owning the data subject rights request (DSAR) program and privacy training coordination, ensuring timely execution and regulatory compliance.
  • Managing privacy due diligence for third-party suppliers as part of our Third-Party Risk Management process.
  • Overseeing the review and updating of privacy notices and cookie consent management.
  • Supporting the management of personal data incidents in coordination with Information Security and the DPO and collaborating with relevant teams to identify privacy risks and develop proportionate mitigation approaches.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for privacy operations across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Security, and Compliance teams, building trusted partnerships and establishing regular stakeholder cadence.
  • Building privacy governance structures (privacy committees, champion networks, escalation paths) and creating self-service resources that enable business teams to operate compliantly.
  • Developing privacy metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership visibility, and managing audit preparation and compliance evidence.
  • Leading privacy culture and change management initiatives, translating complex regulations into practical guidance, and driving adoption across the organization.
  • Managing the Privacy Operations Specialist, providing direction on priorities, quality standards, and professional development.

iM Qualified Because I Have...
  • 5-8 years of privacy program management experience, with demonstrated experience building privacy programs from scratch or significantly scaling existing programs.
  • Deep expertise in GDPR and UK GDPR operational requirements, including hands-on experience with RoPAs, DPIAs, DSARs, international data transfers, and privacy technology platforms (OneTrust, Ketch, etc.).
  • Experience working within multi-jurisdictional privacy programs spanning EEA, UK, US, and other global regions.
  • Proven track record in SaaS, cloud, or technology environments, preferably serving regulated customers (legal, financial services, healthcare).
  • Strong program management and stakeholder coordination skills, with ability to manage multiple workstreams, drive initiatives to completion, and build trusted cross-functional partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex privacy regulations into practical operational guidance and drive organizational change.
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to build structure in ambiguous environments and work independently while partnering effectively with legal counsel.
  • Experience leading a team.

Bonus Points If I Have...
  • CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM certification.
  • Experience supporting AI governance initiatives or AI-related privacy assessments.
  • Technical background with familiarity in data flows, system architectures, or data mapping.
  • Experience in agile/product development environments supporting privacy-by-design.

Don't meet every qualification listed above? Studies show that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet all qualifications. At iManage, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment, and encourage everyone to show up as their full authentic selves. We welcome those that come with a growth mindset and a hunger for learning; so, if you are excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification we encourage you to apply anyways!
iM Getting To...
  • Join a rapidly evolving, industry-leading SaaS company on an exciting journey of growth and scalability!
  • Take on meaningful, high-impact challenges by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best-in-class protocols to drive innovation.
  • Own my career path with our internal development framework. Ask us more about this!
  • Expand my skill set and earn certifications with unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning courses and interactive Microsoft courses & training.
  • Be part of a supportive and experienced team within a dynamic, inclusive, and encouraging culture.
  • Enjoy flexible work hours that empower me to balance personal time with professional commitments.
  • Collaborate in a modern, open-plan workspace featuring a gaming area, free snacks and drinks, and regular social events.

iManage Is Supporting Me By...
  • Creating an inclusive environment where I can help shape the culture not just by fitting in, but by adding to it.
  • Providing a market competitive salary that is applied through a consistent process, equitable for all our employees, and regularly reviewed based on industry data.
  • Rewarding me with an annual performance-based bonus.
  • Offering comprehensive Health/Vision/Dental/Life Insurance, and a 401k Retirement Savings Plan with a company match up to 4%.
  • Granting enhanced leave for expecting parents; 20 weeks 100% paid for primary leave, and 10 weeks 100% paid for secondary leave.
  • Providing me with a flexible time off policy to take the time off that I need. Be it for vacation, volunteering, celebrating holidays, spending time with family, or simply taking time to recharge and reset.
  • Having multiple company wellness days each year to prioritize mental health and well-being.
  • Providing access to RethinkCare, a global behavioral health platform that enhances personal well-being, strengthens professional resilience, and empowers parental success through expert-led training and resources.
