AMD is seeking a Privacy Program Manager to play a key role in building, scaling, and operationalizing our global privacy program. This role reports to our Senior Corporate Counsel - Privacy and will translate privacy requirements into scalable processes by leveraging AI, data, and automation.
The Person
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, global company, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Able to design and scale privacy program operations with a pragmatic, risk-based mindset.
  • Strong program and project management skills and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, workflows, and developing risk dashboards.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, positive attitude, and a good sense of humor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage AI and automation to design, implement, scale, and continuously improve AMD's global privacy program, including data governance, data protection, and privacy compliance processes.
  • Support privacy risk assessments, including DPIAs/PIAs and data mapping efforts; identify risks, recommend mitigation actions, and track remediation.
  • Develop privacy risk dashboards and perform trend analysis to provide insights into program performance and emerging risks.
  • Support data subject rights (DSAR) processes and assist with intake, tracking, and coordination of privacy-related inquiries.
  • Maintain audit-ready program documentation and centralized records of updates to privacy policies, systems, and processes.
  • Support planning, implementation, and change management for privacy policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Perform controls testing, identify opportunities for enhancement, and resolve operational challenges to continuously optimize the privacy program.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, risk, audit, or program management.
  • Experience supporting global privacy programs or regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).
  • Experience supporting executive or Board reporting.
  • Experience with data analytics, dashboards, and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with privacy or governance tools and systems (e.g., data mapping, consent management, or DSAR platforms).
  • Technology or semiconductor industry experience is a plus.

Academic and Professional Credentials
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • CIPP, CIPM, or similar certifications are a plus.
