Title: Mommy Mentor Network Program Manager

Department: Mommy Mentor Network

Reports to: Director, Mommy Mentor Network

$25 Hr- Approx 20-30 hours/weekYouth With A Purpose is a CA 501C3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to plant seeds of hope and water purpose in the lives of children, youth and young adults through supportive services. Our main program categories for 2025 include the Mommy Mentor Network, Purpose House TAY housing, “The Center”, Arts 2 the Stage performing arts program, empowerment and community events (Unity 4 Youth, annual Banquet, Toy Drive, etc).

Job Summary

The Mommy Mentor Network Program Manager (Lead Mentor) will oversee the daily operations and long-term success of the Mommy Mentor Network (MMN). This position is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to all program mentors and mentees, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mentorship experiences. The Program Manager will foster strong relationships, manage program logistics, track outcomes, and represent YWAP at community events. Additionally, the Program Manager will serve as a Community Liaison when needed—building bridges between YWAP, community partners, and the families we serve.

Key Responsibilities:Mentor & Mentee Support
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with all program mentors and mentees to provide guidance, encouragement, and resources.

  • During check-ins with both mentors and mentees, assess progress and address challenges.

  • Facilitate group mentorship sessions to foster community and peer support.

Program Management
  • Maintain and update the Innovative Mentoring Software (IMS) and Apricot Software for accurate record-keeping and progress tracking.

  • Ensure program activities align with YWAP’s mission, values, and goals.

  • Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Community Engagement & Liaison Work
  • Represent the Mommy Mentor Network at YWAP’s outreach table during community events (as available).

  • Serve as a Community Liaison when needed—strengthening relationships with partner organizations, agencies, and stakeholders.

  • Advocate for program participants within the community and connect them to relevant resources.

  • Network with community partners to promote program visibility and impact.

Event Planning & Coordination
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of MMN events, including workshops, celebrations, and special initiatives.

  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure event success.

Other Duties
  • Support additional responsibilities and initiatives as assigned to advance the program and organization’s mission.



Qualifications & Skills:
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Experience in program management, preferably in youth or family-focused initiatives.

  • Comfortable with technology and capable of managing digital tools (IMS or similar).

  • Event planning and coordination experience preferred.

  • Ability to work evenings or weekends for events as needed.

  • Commitment to the mission and values of Youth With A Purpose.

own liability insurance.
