Momentum is hiring a Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operational functions of our Adult Day Program. As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for holding the vision of the program and ensuring that all individuals supported have a right to participate in an active community life and pursuit of their personal goals. The Program Manager supervises staff and manages their selection, training, development, scheduling, and disciplinary action. As the Program Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to build a rewarding career in healthcare and to develop caring relationships.

Program Manager Essential Duties:
  • Promotes a friendly, comfortable, and safe environment
  • Respects and promotes the right of individuals
  • Ensures the provision of program services that are meaningful, individualized, and person-centered for individuals with disabilities.
  • Ensures staff are providing instruction and training so that people supported have opportunities for the acquisition, retention, or improvement of self-help, socialization, and professional skills that align with their interests.
  • Directs and/or delegates the assignment of staff, monitoring of daily and weekly schedules, and the matching of staff characteristics, preferences, and qualifications to individual's needs.
  • Oversees program evaluation process and completion of annual program evaluation report.
  • Ensures timely/accurate billing, authorizations, payroll and records process to ensure efficient scheduling and excellent service delivery.
  • Works with the individual and their planning team to develop goals and program activities.
  • Provides direct support as needed to model standard of services and maintain critical ratio due to unexpected employee absence.
  • Facilitates and leads team meetings and staff trainings.
  • Adheres to and participates in Momentum's mandatory HIPAA privacy program/practices.
  • Maintains and submits documentation in the format and timelines required by Momentum, facility, local, state and federal regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs.

Program Manager Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related discipline; required
  • Minimum of 18 months experience in management; preferably in adult day program setting
  • Experience in the following is preferred: working with people with special needs; service design, development, and implementation; program administration and budgeting; and working with regional centers, licensing, and other agencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the use of the Internet for research, in addition to the ability to learn and utilize other applications as required
  • Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California; required
  • Ability to work in a professional manner, both with other departments within the home(s) and with community representatives
  • Positive attitude with flexibility to meet the needs and demands of the organization
  • Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Able to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds
