Compliance Analyst - Privacy Protection

Temporary position of 2 years

As a Compliance Analyst - Privacy Protection, you will play a key role in managing privacy-related requests, supporting business units in meeting their obligations, and contributing to reporting activities for senior management.

What you'll accomplish with us
As a Compliance Analyst, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Developing tools to support the processes of the Chief Privacy Officer's Office and documenting them
  • Contributing to the implementation of various Privacy Office processes, particularly those related to privacy incidents, access to information requests, and privacy impact assessments
  • Supporting business units in understanding practices and procedures, applying privacy processes, and using the technological tools involved
  • Participating in the improvement of technological tools under the responsibility of the Chief Privacy Officer
  • Collaborating with team members to develop awareness initiatives for all iA Group employees on privacy protection, including reviewing corporate and business unit training content
  • Preparing required reports for regulatory authorities, particularly in the case of privacy incidents
  • Participating in the drafting of reports for various governance bodies within iA Financial Group by collecting information from multiple stakeholders
  • Managing and responding to privacy-related inquiries from partners, employees, clients, and other individuals

  • Has at least three years of relevant experience in a compliance or legal environment, along with a college diploma in paralegal studies, a bachelor's degree in law, or another relevant field
  • Has an advanced level of French and English, both spoken and written, due to daily interactions with English- and French-speaking clients and partners across Canada
