Youth Services Program Coordinator - Full Time
21st Century McKinley High School Youth Services Ctr, Buffalo, NY, US
Salary Range: $36,000.00 To $40,000.00 (USD) Annually
SUMMARY: Responsible for general administration, implementation and coordination of the 21st Century Program, acts as liaison between the Community Action Organization and the Buffalo Public Schools and Community Partners.
DUTIES: Coordinates and manages all partnership relationships, ensures all paperwork and reporting are completed and submitted. Meet team goals and objectives set forth by management, agency funders, and partners. Oversee and monitor the program and site’s records and reports. Outline recruitment processes (eligible students) for all programs ensuring that projects progress on schedule and within prescribed timeline. Identify, evaluate and recommend various education tools to achieve program goals-outcomes. Create and maintain a structure for the flow of programming for educational programs. Regularly document the progress and status of program participants. Coordinates tutor, teacher and mentor activities to improve delivery of services to school age youth. Leads personnel to ensure quality of services for all student and participating sites by conducting regular staff meetings. Demonstrates a positive work ethic and maintains confidentiality in appropriate program areas. Assist in other program areas as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree (preferred credits in an education concentration) and 2 or more years of experience working with school aged children and families. Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to handle conflict and quickly resolve problems, must be dependable. Data entry and word processing skills required.
