Aspire of WNY is seeking per diem/relief Direct Support Professional positions working in a site-based Day Program in the Getzville/Amherst area.
At Aspire, we are driven by the core belief that children and adults with developmental disabilities have the right to realize their full potential and live as independently as possible. Aspire compassionately and relentlessly works toward facilitating this end.
The position supports people with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living - including, but not limited to, personal hygiene care, meal prep and feeding, administer medication. Flexible schedules!
Day Habilitation Aides would working in a day program setting supporting adults with developmental disabilities in skill building, activities of daily living (including, but not limited to, personal hygiene care, feeding and administering medication), community integration and training, community based learning, day program activities.
Hours available are Monday through Friday from 8am-3pm. A minimum of 4 hour per day shift is required. Hours may range from 12-30 per week.
Must be available to complete 2 week orientation (1st shift)
Hourly rate of pay: $16.76
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid New York State Driver's License
