Job description

Work Where You Can Make an IMPACT
Work in an EXCITING and MEANINGFUL field teaching children with developmental disabilities ages Pre-K to 21 years old at our Center for Learning in Cheektowaga, NY or in a preschool setting throughout Erie County.
Six-week summer session to be held from July 13th - August 21st with a new employee orientation held July 7th - 9th. Opportunities available to continue employment in September.
This position provides educational services to students with multiple disabilities in an inclusive setting. Responsibilities include developing Individualized Education Plans (IEP's), coordinating services to students, teaching students to ensure successful progress towards students' goals and collaborates with staff, parents and other service providers.
Requirements:
  • Valid New York State Teaching Certification in

Rate of Pay:
  • $26.21 per hour with certification in Students with Disabilities Birth - Grade 2 or Students with Disabilities Grades 1- 6 during orientation and hours worked outside of the 6 week program
  • $23.12 per hour with other teaching certification during orientation and hours worked outside of the 6 week program
  • $29.75 per hour during the 6 week summer program
