Job description

Help Girl Scouts dream big and experience all the outdoors have to offer. Become a Summer Camp Volunteer today!!

Change-makers. Trailblazers. Explorers. We’re talking about Girl Scouts, of course, but we’re also talking about the people who become Girl Scout volunteers. Our camps throughout Western New York would love your help in bringing our summer programs to our girls during the summer camp season.

During the summer, we offer a variety of ways Girl Scouts can experience the outdoors through our camp programming. By providing opportunities for girls to experience camp life on their own, we help in building girls in courage, confidence, and character. We would love your help in bringing these experiences to our girls!

Our camps run from late-June through mid-August, and you are welcome to volunteer to join us for as many or as few days as you like.

Please do be aware that, by applying for this volunteer position, you are applying for an unpaid voluntary position with GSWNY. A criminal and sex offender background check will be required. If you are interested in paid positions, please check out the many available summer camp employment opportunities that we currently have available.

Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you!

PLEASE NOTE: As you complete the volunteer application, this system is primarily set-up for employee applications. Please simply mark any areas of the application that may not directly pertain to you as "N/A".
