50% - Direct trainee support 
  • Assist with recruiting new applicants
  • Onboard new applicants into the program
  • Provide technical and logistical support for trainees
25% - Program events and activities 
  • Assist with developing, planning and scheduling events and activities that align with the program goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with other programs and venues for event planning.
  • Disseminate information about program events and activities to the participants and broader community.

,This position is for a coordinator of the NIH-funded KU-Haskell Bridge program. This program is a research training program that supports Haskell undergraduates in research and professional development and transferring to KU for a terminal degree in a bioscience field. The coordinator will support most aspects of the program, including planning program events and activities, providing direct trainee support, and program administration and operations (see job duties below).
