DD Day Program Staff
Summary
Assist the DD Day Program Manager in organizing, coordinating and providing support to IDD individuals in a group setting with transportation, group activities, work-related skills and activities of daily living. Drive customers from Neodesha to Parsons with company vehicle. Full-time. Persons from Neodesha KS with experience in working with a variety of disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Essential Job Functions
  1. Provide assistance and training to individuals with their work related activities and Independent Living skills
  2. Promote activities and work on goals that will increase the individual's independent living skills in the workplace and in the community
  3. Provide transportation as needed
  4. Assist DD Day Program Manager with organizing social activities and day support activities in the community
  5. Work with individuals in developing appropriate behavior skills in the area of anger management
  6. Assist DD Day Program Manager with supporting documentation, such as activity logs, information and referral forms, time sheets and customer packets

Job Requirements
  1. At least 18 years of age
  2. Have a valid Driver's License
  3. Experience working in direct care with a variety of disabilities is a plus
  4. Pass background checks
