About the P&A Community Program:

The Pediatric Residential Program provides care to children and adolescents with behavioral challenges. The program specializes in providing these individuals with Applied Behavior Analysis based intensive residential treatment designed to minimize problem behaviors while providing them assistance with activities of daily living.  In addition, we proactively help our clients develop their independence and participate in social and recreational community activities. We are activity seeking a Program Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Program Manager will support, monitor and supervise the Program Associates within their program.
  • Designs, implements, monitors, and evaluates community support services that help people live as valued, contributing and self-determined members of their community.
  • The Manager must possess the physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to successfully supervise a diverse team.
  • This position requires a high degree of problem-solving, flexibility, independent thinking, organization, prioritization of duties, excellent communication, and relationship-building skills.

Education & Experience:

  • An incumbent in this position who has graduated from an accredited college with a BA in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, Social Work, Recreation, Art, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Nutrition, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology AND possesses at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries.
  • Prior management experience and a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals.
