Job description

Drexel AmeriCorps Program
The member will be part of a cohort of AmeriCorps members and will be required to participate in cohort orientation and training. Members will have access to additional training opportunities including the opportunity to learn more about careers in nonprofits and education, while also having the opportunity to network with nonprofit and education professionals.
Member Duties : The member will assist classroom teachers with activities, management, and curriculum development for PK-12 students. This involves designing and implementing lessons, working with individuals and small groups, and participating in professional development sessions. The member will collaborate closely with teachers to foster an optimal learning environment and adhere to professional conduct standards in alignment with education placement requirements provided by Drexel's School of Education. Additional responsibilities may include engaging in reflective conferences and fulfilling tasks as assigned by the classroom teacher.
