Job description

In the Associate - Information Technology Development Program, you will gain industry knowledge and engage with our senior leaders. The WESCO Information Technology Development Program is a 24-month rotational program designed to prepare you for a technology-based role once the program ends. Within each rotation you will work directly under the supervision of one of our IT leaders and be paired with a peer mentor.

You will work in our Pittsburgh, PA HQ or Glenview, IL corporate office, you'll be immersed with project-based initiatives and operations assignments with possible rotations in the following areas:

  • Enterprise Agile Deployment
  • Enterprise Architecture and Technology Improvement
  • Finance
  • Supply and Demand Planning
  • Warehouse management
  • Transportation Management
  • Omnichannel
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Pricing, Quoting, and Order Management
  • Digital Products and Platforms
  • Cybersecurity
  • DevSecOps

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Business-related field i.e., Information technology, Information
  • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
  • Superior technical skills as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion of achieving results
  • Ability to collaborate effectively using Microsoft Teams with a geographically spread team
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Prior internship in business related field
  • Ability to travel 0% - 25%

Events:

  • Program Orientation: In-person orientation typically held in a central location for all program associates
  • Mid-Year Event: Virtual - includes leadership speakers and training experiences
  • Graduation Event: Held at our Pittsburgh-based HQ - includes a celebratory graduation dinner and award ceremony with Wesco executive leaders; final program presentations

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan,subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
