Based in our Headquarters Office located in Pittsburgh, PA, you will report to the Director of Security Solutions and Lifecycle Shared Services and lead, develop and grow the Power & Water Solutions (PWS) Educational Services business for North America.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Provide management oversight, direction, and strategy for the Educational Services team in North America to deliver high quality educational programs to Emerson's Power and Water industry customers.
  • Establish objectives and maintain standards for quality delivery of Educational services training modules while driving a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other PWS world areas and Systems and Software businesses to harmonize educational content delivery across the organizations
  • Manage the Educational Services profit and loss (P&L) center to deliver on established organizational financial metrics including but not limited to sales, asset management and productivity targets
  • Drive and develop your team to deliver world class educational programs with a focus on next generation training methods for in-person, virtual and hybrid learning programs
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement programs, quality and internal training initiatives
  • Have a strong drive to work directly with customers to develop and customize their educational plans and program
  • Participate in the marketing and selling of Educational Services

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in field service, sales, application engineering or first-level management.
  • Strong people skills and ability to take care of and successfully resolve customer issues.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% domestically
  • Must have strong communication skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Must be able to motivate people in a technically challenging environment to deliver world class educational programs to a variety of learners
  • Demonstrated planning, communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, related technical subject area or industry experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering, field service, product development, marketing, educational services, customer support or related field
