Join Axos Bank's immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. Along with your day-to-day job duties, you will take part in a capstone project, sessions with our business leaders, financial literacy training courses, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day. Interns have a choice between one of two sessions to accommodate varying school calendars.
Session 1: May 27 - August 14
Session 2: June 16 - September 4
The Automation Analyst Intern will support Axos Bank's enterprise automation initiatives by helping design and deliver scalable, low-code solutions that improve efficiency across the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to Axos Bank's Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment within a regulated financial services environment. Interns will collaborate closely with technology and business partners to build well-governed, high-impact automation solutions that support Axos Bank's digital-first operating model.
  • Develop, configure, and enhance automation solutions using low-code/no-code platforms to support business processes
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and deployment
  • Assist with documenting functional requirements, technical designs, and process flows
  • Build and test workflows, integrations, and basic UI components within automation tools
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business and compliance requirements
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows; recommend enhancements and optimizations
  • Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business partners to deliver scalable, well-documented solutions
  • Follow SDLC governance, change management, and documentation standards
