YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop national and/or brand category plans and strategies for the assigned project, aligning Sales Strategy and Operations and Marketing objectives to customer needs;
  • Assist in pulling and analyzing syndicated and customer POS data to support strategic decision-making;
  • Develop recommendations based on the analysis of data from various sources to enhance and improve business results;
  • Communicate results, ideas, and suggestions both in written and verbal formats;
  • Interact with Bayer Consumer Health (BCH) colleagues across various job functions within Consumer Health Sales Strategy & Operations, Marketing, and Customer Teams/Field Sales;
  • Develop negotiation tactics to deliver mutually acceptable outputs;
  • Conduct an oral presentation of project results and key learnings to Bayer management upon completion of the internship.

WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree program in business or marketing;
  • Must be eligible to work in the US now and in the future;
  • Proficient in Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook);
  • Able to provide own transportation to and from the work office location; the intern role is hybrid and requires the ability to work in our Whippany, NJ office 3 days a week;
  • Ability to travel as needed for in-person meetings or training;
  • Available May 2027 to August 2027;
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise presentations;
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail;
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deliverables effectively;
  • Proven problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, self-direction, and collaboration capabilities;
  • Able to demonstrate work experience and/or capability in leadership, analytics, collaboration, communication, AI tools, project management, self-direction, and initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Junior pursuing completion of their undergraduate business (Sales) or marketing degree;
  • Experience with Circana or Nielson POS data is highly preferred;
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $20.75 to $29.50. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
