Job description

Location: Columbus, OH
Work Schedule: 38.75hrs/week, 2 days in office (Tuesday & Wednesday) and 3 days remote
Duration: 14 weeks

Grange provides a unique internship experience through the Grange Intern Development Program. The 14-week program is designed to expose students to the insurance industry through networking, mentoring, hands-on work experience, and community service. The interns will work day-to-day in their respective departments while also working as a group on a corporate project, which concludes with a capstone presentation to senior leaders. If you're up for the challenge, we encourage you to apply today! The 14-week internship program will be from mid-May to mid-August.
Summary: Assist in and support in the execution of the Personal Lines Strategy with a focus on key activities for the following strategic initiatives; Target Customer, PL Portfolio Management, etc.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Target Customer Strategy
  • Personal Lines Portfolio Management Strategy
  • Support pricing and the state product managers to prepare analysis for use in the rate review process
  • Support state product managers and national team projects and initiatives
  • Market and competitive research
  • Perform other research and analysis as needed/requested

What You'll Bring to the Company:
The ideal candidate is working toward college degree in an analytical discipline such as Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, or any other applicable degree. Experience with personal computers and a working knowledge of spreadsheet applications are required.
