Job description

Position Summary
The LAS Operations Manager is responsible for providing operational leadership and daily
oversight for LAS distribution and final-mile delivery operations. This role ensures
operational excellence through effective workforce management, process execution,
customer service, and continuous improvement initiatives.


The LAS Operations Manager will oversee daily warehouse, dispatch, and transportation
activities while ensuring service commitments, productivity goals, and operational
standards are consistently achieved. This position will partner closely with business center
leadership to optimize workflow, manage staffing needs, support financial objectives, and
maintain a high-performing operational environment.


In addition to supporting core logistics functions, this role will assist with B2C operations
by ensuring proper execution of customer requirements, supporting process improvements,
and driving consistency across operational workflows.


Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Execution
Provide oversight and support for daily LAS warehouse, dispatch, and transportation
operations.
Ensure consistent execution of customer expectations with a strong focus on service
performance and issue resolution.
Optimize operational workflows including staffing utilization, equipment usage, and
process efficiency.
Assess capacity based on inbound volume and operational needs while adjusting
staffing accordingly.
Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Understanding of P&L and its impact on operations
Customer Account Support
Support existing customer accounts by ensuring operational requirements and service
expectations are achieved.
Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.

Assist with B2C operations by supporting workflow execution, customer requirements,
and continuous improvement initiatives.
Dispatch & Transportation Management
Understand dispatching duties to maximize routing efficiency.
Support route optimization, driver coordination, and transportation planning.
Assist with resolving operational challenges impacting service performance.
Financial Performance & Operational Discipline
Assist with managing operational expenses to support budget and P&L objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize resources.
Ensure timely completion of operational reporting requirements.
Leadership & Organizational Development
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to warehouse and logistics teams.
Support onboarding, offboarding, employee development, and performance discussions.
Reinforce a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous
improvement.

Qualifications
3+ years of distribution, logistics, transportation, or final-mile delivery experience
required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams and drive performance.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
Working Conditions
Fast-paced warehouse and transportation environment.
May be required to work various shifts based on operational needs.
Frequent use of computer systems, reporting tools, and operational technology.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Minimal travel required (<30%).
