Job description

GPS is hiring Production/Machine Operators for a local manufacturer in Orangeburg, SC!

Pay increases to $18/hr after hire
Hours: 6:50 AM – 7:00 PM and 6:50 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 2/2/3 rotation (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, etc.)
  • Must be available to work all shifts
What you will do:
• Operate production machinery (NGR, Polytex, extrusion)
• Feed plastic sheets into NGR machine and change bins
• Monitor machinery for timely material processing
• Load/unload sheets on Polytex machinery
• Assist with core cutter setup and operation
• Report NGR production data on computer software
• Maintain general warehouse cleanliness
What is needed:
  • Able to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16th of an inch
  • Consistent work experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
  • Ability to walk, bend, and stoop regularly
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
