What is a Product Success Manager?

A Product Success Manager is a professional responsible for ensuring that customers achieve their desired outcomes while using a company's product. They act as a bridge between the product team and customers, helping to onboard users, address issues, gather feedback, and drive product adoption and satisfaction. Their role often involves collaborating with sales, support, and development teams to improve the product and enhance the overall customer experience. By understanding customer needs and product capabilities, Product Success Managers help maximize the value delivered to both customers and the business.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Product Success Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Product Success Manager, you need strong skills in product management, customer success, data analysis, and a background in business or technology, often supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with CRM platforms, analytics tools, and product management software such as Salesforce, Jira, or Gainsight is typically required. The Director of Production Success for the Technology Team is a senior individual contributor role responsible for driving the adoption, value realization, and overall success of our technology solutions across a portfolio of global and local accounts. This role partners closely with senior client stakeholders and internal teams such as the Growth and Solutions team to ensure our products deliver measurable business outcomes, foster long-term client satisfaction, and identify opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven professional who can influence at the executive level and act as the primary advocate for product success. They are equally comfortable discussing technical details with clients and collaborating with engineering teams.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the strategy for product success across all technology solutions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Growth/Solutions team to identify capabilities and workflows that will support the client need.
  • Assist in client pitches where needed to provide a client facing technological 'deep dive' knowledge of the product.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product adoption and success, building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Lead onboarding and change management for large-scale technology rollouts, ensuring smooth implementation and user adoption.
  • Monitor and analyse product usage, adoption metrics, and health scores; proactively address risks and identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to influence the roadmap and ensure seamless delivery of technology-driven solutions.
  • Conduct executive-level business reviews, presenting KPIs, ROI, and innovation roadmaps to senior client and internal leadership.
  • Act as the voice of the client internally to inform product development and strategic planning.
  • Drive up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts by aligning client needs with technology offerings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business, Technology, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in product success, enterprise account management, or technology program leadership (preferably in creative production, marketing tech, or SaaS environments).
  • Proven track record of managing large enterprise accounts and driving product adoption at scale.
  • Strong understanding of digital/creative production workflows and supporting technologies.
  • Exceptional executive presence, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with C-suite clients.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience creating and reporting on success metrics.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level project management and CRM systems (e.g., Jira, Asana, Salesforce).

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to lead product success for cutting-edge technology solutions serving some of the world's most recognized brands.
  • A global, collaborative, and innovative culture where your expertise will have significant impact.
  • Professional growth and visibility at the executive level across our international network.
