Position Summary:
Senior Product Development Engineer - High-Purity Fluid Systems
We are seeking a talented and driven Product Development Engineer to join our team to design and launch next generation FluoroPure® and NOWPak® systems-critical technologies enabling the safe storage and delivery of ultra-high-purity chemicals used in semiconductor manufacturing.
This role is ideal for a hands-on mechanical engineer who thrives on solving complex problems involving polymer design, fluid systems, and contamination control.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead design and development of polymer-based fluid containment systems
  • Lead product enhancements and derivative designs to improve performance and manufacturing efficiency
  • Drive innovation in high-purity, chemical-compatible products
  • Build, test, and validate prototypes in real-world conditions
  • Collaborate across simulation, manufacturing, and supplier teams perform FEA, CFD, and moldflow analyses for design optimization
  • Take products from concept through production launch
  • Utilize Gantt charts and other project management tools to plan, track, and report progress on engineering projects.
  • Conduct root cause investigations to resolve design, manufacturing, or performance issues.
  • Communicate effectively across functions regarding design specifications, drawing interpretation, and compliance with part standards.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • 4-6 years of hands-on product design and development experience

Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in SolidWorks CAD software.

  • Strong SolidWorks and polymer processing experience (injection/blow molding)
  • Background in fluid systems, regulated products, or harsh chemical environments
  • Proven ability to launch products and solve complex design challenges

Project & Process Skills:
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with Gantt charts, timelines, and milestone tracking.

  • Skilled in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

  • Experience with fluid handling systems and high-volume manufacturing environments.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).

  • Experience with Design FMEA and Process FMEA (preferred).

Communication & Collaboration:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to report technical information professionally and concisely.

  • Strong team orientation with a collaborative mindset.

  • Quick learner with adaptability to new tasks and processes.

  • Skilled in ideation, abstract design, and computer modeling.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a standard office and lab environment.

  • May require occasional lifting of prototypes or test equipment (up to 25 lbs).

  • Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.

  • Visual acuity for detailed design work and inspection.

  • Occasional domestic and international travel to manufacturing sites or suppliers may be required.
