Job description

NavSav Insurance is seeking a dynamic and proven Head of Sales to lead and scale sales performance across the organization. This executive role is accountable for overseeing all revenue‑generating functions, including Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Employee Benefits, while directly managing and developing the sales leaders within each discipline.

The ideal candidate is a former top‑producing insurance professional and/or prior agency owner with a deep understanding of how to drive sustainable growth within an independent agency environment. This leader is highly organized, strategic, and excels at leading leaders-setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and delivering consistent performance against aggressive growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all sales functions across Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.
  • Directly manage and develop department sales leaders, ensuring alignment with company revenue goals and growth initiatives.
  • Establish, track, and continuously improve sales performance metrics, KPIs, and forecasting across all lines of business.
  • Drive revenue growth through new business production, cross-selling strategies, retention initiatives, and producer development.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute sales strategies that support NavSav's overall growth objectives.
  • Evaluate and improve sales processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency, accountability, and scalability.
  • Coach and mentor sales leaders and producers, fostering a high-performance, results-driven sales culture.
  • Ensure consistent sales standards, best practices, and compliance across all departments.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and service teams to optimize the client lifecycle and producer experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven background as a successful insurance producer and/or previous independent agency owner.
  • Demonstrated experience leading sales teams within an insurance agency environment.
  • Required experience in both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines sales; benefits experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of revenue generation, sales management, and agency growth strategies.
  • Experience managing and developing sales leaders, not just individual contributors.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple departments, priorities, and performance metrics simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using sales analytics to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience overseeing multi-location or rapidly growing insurance agencies.
  • Familiarity with producer compensation structures, incentive plans, and performance management.
  • Experience working within a PE-backed or growth-focused agency environment.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Supplemental Benefits

  • Training
  • Paid Time Off (starts accruing immediately)
  • 401K with employer matching
