Job Summary
Reporting to the Procurement Director this role will support Operations to ensure timely submission of purchase orders for on-time delivery of goods. At times will have to work with multiple suppliers based on availability and pricing.
Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders
  • Expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Resolve invoice and receipt discrepancies
  • Drive adoption of sourced programs
  • Arrange for the proper transportation of purchased products as needed
  • Support efforts to identify and evaluate new or alternative suppliers
  • Ensure suppliers are compliant with required insurance documentation
  • Collaborate and negotiate internally and externally
  • Ensure all activities within the procurement process are followed in accordance with best practice policies and procedures

Job Requirements
  • Experience with procurement tools, processes and systems preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
