ROLE SUMMARY

The Pricing Specialist is responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and distributing weekly pricing and ad allowance information. This role ensures accuracy across pricing systems, supports the Customer Service Department, and collaborates with internal departments, cooperative members, and distribution centers. The position is hourly with overtime opportunities and overtime as needed along with holiday coverage on a rotating schedule.

· Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies proactively.

· Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Exhibit professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to supporting company goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monitor and update pricing daily using internal systems and external market resources.

· Maintain and audit customer pricing worksheets and Excel-based reports.

· Enter item pricing and ad allowances into AX/D365 Dynamics.

· Verify pricing changes and approvals and distribute notifications to customers.

· Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

· Review purchase orders and variances for accuracy.

· Assist with ad calendars, rebates, and allowance requests.

· Provide holiday coverage and serve as backup support within the Customer Service Department.

· Ensure accurate pricing updates and distributions each Wednesday and Thursday.

REQUIREMENTS

· Associate degree (AA) or equivalent experience; 3+ years pricing or related experience preferred.

· Strong SharePoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

· High-level math skills and proven ability to analyze data.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal departments, cooperative members, and distribution centers.

· Schedule: Customer Service operates Monday through Sunday.

· Mandatory Availability: Wednesdays and Thursdays are critical workdays in this role, as all pricing changes must be updated and distributed each week on these days.
