Job Summary The main function of a Precision Assembler is to perform assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled work environment. Job Description
  • Learn and carry out detailed work instructions
  • Assemble components to include gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, welding using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses
  • Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions
  • Promote and support a safe working environment
  • Inform team lead/supervisor of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes
  • Supports and promotes LEAN operations by following standard work to include Safety Observations, Idea Generation and Hour by Hour Board updates
  • Meet quality assurance requirements and complete documentation associated with same

Skills Required
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
  • Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment
  • Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
Education/Training/Certifications
