Position Overview

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling air-cooled heat exchangers and related components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Assembly Technician role involves working with hand tools, blueprints, and shop equipment to build industrial heat exchange units used in various applications.

The ideal Assembly Technician has strong mechanical aptitude, prior assembly experience, and the ability to read measuring tools and technical drawings while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
• Ability to read tape measures accurately
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Willingness to work night shifts and overtime as required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble air-cooled heat exchangers and related components
• Construct condensers, boxes, and coils used in heat and air exchange units
• Perform tube pushing and other mechanical assembly tasks
• Operate overhead cranes, plasma cutters, grinders, and forklifts when required
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings during assembly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines

Preferred Experience

• Experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes preferred
• Previous experience in heat exchanger, fabrication, or heavy mechanical assembly environments is a plus
